Our Mission

To encourage mutual support between families and ensure children with disabilities have access to education, recreation and other services that help them reach their potential as members of our community. Butterfly Kids support parents who have, or discovered, that their child has a disability by sharing new information and referring on to other support networks, as well as providing regular meeting opportunities to connect both service providers and carers to participate within a supportive environment and pursue community partnerships and support.

Our Vision

That children with disabilities are fully participating members of their community. Butterfly Kids believe that children with disabilities have a right to be understood, accepted, respected and supported. We believe inclusion is about living full lives and learning to live together by recognising that we are "one" even though we are not the same.
